I would like to take this moment to thank everyone who has helped get the game this far.

No Storylines here to talk about, but there are plenty waiting to be run...

Voodoo: the Macabre support in our Character Generation is nearing completion. Previously those Characters had to be hand-statted which caused a lot of trouble with the supporting codes that ran the other areas of the game. We didn't let the code deficit impact the stories back then. However, the addition to code support will expand what we can do with the Voodoo game!

As with all tragedies, the people with money and power make out like bandits. The rebuilding of New Orleans is no different.
|
There are several large corporations within the city that own most of the buildings and land that were abandoned during the recent devastation.
|
|
|
|
An idea had been running through my mind for some time now, and since there's no one here to stop me, I'm setting up a task force called the "CN Fun Squad" which will consist of the main Theme Staff as well as a Storyteller from each active aspect of the game.
|
Their main goal will be to work together and create fun story arcs to be as inclusive as possible for the Playerbase at large. These can be one scene/one shot plots, all the way up through ongoing plot hooks, with the focus on fun!

We officially "opened", on January 15th, 2022 with the hopes to draw in Player and Staff alike.

Those Players that have gone through CharGen and are waiting for Approval, please note that you have not been forgotten.
|
I am just waiting on support Staff to be able to release you to the game.

If you didn't notice, March was a very rough month. This newsletter coming out in the middle of April should attest to that.
|
I have to admit, the lack of Staff at the time of opening has really knocked the wind out of my sails. On top of that, personal duties and then catching a cold during the heat wave that went through here really has had me sidelined until now.
|
Every time that I sat down at the desk to work on the game, something else cropped up to take away my attention, or I was so drained mentally that all I could do is stare at the cursor blinking at the input line.
|
I am here now, working on some more things for the game, and will endeavor to do so going forward.
|
